系统描述了珠江口盆地新近纪断裂活动、主要不整合面、差异构造沉降、古地貌与沉积响应等变形特征,结合油气分布特征和成藏特点,明确定义新构造运动为南海扩张停止之后13.8 Ma以来发生的构造活动,共经历了4个演化阶段,其中上新世(5.33 Ma)是构造活动最强烈的时期。研究发现,珠江口盆地新构造运动以东沙地区的再次隆升为最明显特征,伴随早期断裂继承性发育与坳陷区异常快速沉降,并影响海底古地貌和沉积充填; 新构造运动不仅影响了油气成藏体系的各地质要素,而且控制了油气分布的宏观格局,导致珠一坳陷新近系油气成藏时间具有从东往西逐渐变晚的特点; 新构造运动最强烈的阶段是大多数地区油气成藏的关键时刻,番禺4洼、恩平凹陷、白云凹陷东北部等新构造运动活跃区为浅层油气勘探最有利地区,而西江主洼、陆丰凹陷、白云凹陷西南部等新构造运动较弱区则是古近系深层油气勘探最有利地区。
Abstract:
This paper systematically describes the deformation characteristics of the Neogene Pearl River Mouth basin, such as fault activity, main unconformity surface, differential tectonic subsidence, paleogeomorphology and sedimentary response, and clearly defined the neotectonic movement in the Pearl River Mouth basin as the tectonic activities occurred since the South China Sea ceased expansion(13.8 Ma)by considering the characteristics of hydrocarbon distribution and accumulation. It involves four evolutionary stages; among them, the Pliocene(5.33 Ma)is the most intense period of tectonic activity. The study found that the neotectonic movement in the Pearl River Mouth basin has the most obvious feature of the re-uplifting of Dongsha area, accompanied by the inheritance development of early fault and the abnormal rapid settlement of the depression, which affects the paleo-geomorphology and sedimentary filling of the seabed. The neotectonic movement not only affected all the geological elements of the oil and gas accumulation system, but also controlled the macroscopic pattern of oil and gas distribution, leading to the east-to-west younger characteristics of hydrocarbon accumulation in the Zhu1 depression. The most intense stage of the neotectonic movement, is the key moment for oil and gas accumulation in most of areas. The active neotectonic movement areas, such as the Panyu 4 sub-sag, Enping sag, and the northeastern part of the Baiyun sag, are the most favorable areas for shallow oil and gas exploration; the weak neotectonic movement areas, such as the Xijiang main sag, the Lufeng sag, and the southwestern part of the Baiyun sag, are the most favorable areas for the Paleogene deep oil and gas exploration.
