“源控”是油藏形成的一级控制,烃源岩是油藏形成最重要的物质基础。石油地质学家对烃源岩的认识经历了3个阶段,即有机碳含量(TOC)值大于0.5%的门限低级阶段、TOC值大于0.2%的低丰度扩展阶段以及TOC值大于2.0%的优质烃源岩主要贡献阶段。大量的勘探实践、地化分析资料揭示,为油田储量做出主要贡献的是TOC值大于2.0%的优质烃源岩,低丰度烃源岩生成的石油仅能满足烃源岩的吸附; 烃源岩不在于厚度大,而在于品质好、丰度高。世界上已知最富集石油的波斯湾盆地、西西伯利亚盆地、墨西哥湾盆地、北海盆地、桑托斯盆地以及中国的北部湾盆地、东营凹陷等地区的优质烃源岩厚度为30~300 m,有机质类型为Ⅰ、Ⅱ1型,TOC值为2.0%~40.0%,它们为各盆地大油田的形成做出了最主要的贡献。研究发现这些盆地烃源岩形成时为湖泊或海湾环境,河流带来的营养物质促使了水生生物大量繁殖,为优质烃源岩的形成提供了物质基础。
Abstract:
“Source control” is the primary control of reservoir formation, and source rock is the most important material basis for reservoir formation. Petroleum geologists have experienced three stages in the understanding of source rocks, namely a low-level threshold stage with an organic carbon content(TOC)value of higher than 0.5%, a low-abundance expansion stage with a TOC value of higher than 0.2%, and the main contribution stage of high quality source rocks with a TOC value of higher than 2.0%. A large number of exploration practices and geochemical analysis data reveal that the main contributor to oilfield reserves is the high quality source rock with TOC value of higher than 2.0%, and the oil produced by low-abundance source rock can only satisfy the adsorption of source rocks. The importance of source rock is dominated by its quality and abundance, rather than the large thickness. The world's most abundant oil-rich basins, such as the Persian Gulf basin, Western Siberian basin, Gulf of Mexico basin, North Sea basin, Santos basin, China's Beibuwan basin and Dongying sag, have the high quality source rocks thickness of 30 ~ 300 m, organic matters types of I/II1, and the TOC values of 2.0%~40.0%. They have made the most important contribution to the formation of large oilfields in various basins. The study found that the source rocks of these basins were formed in the lake or bay environments. The nutrients brought by the river promoted the mass reproduction of aquatic organisms and provided a material basis for the formation of high quality source rocks.
